Hello! My name is Heather Roberts and I teach K-6 Elementary Special Education. This is my 22nd year at Iowa Valley. I graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa with a Bachelor Degree in Special Education. I live in rural Ladora with my husband Eric, and my three daughters Aleya, who is a sophomore at UNI, Kyla who is a senior, and Ema who is a sophomore. I enjoy traveling, specifically to the beach. My classroom is very organized, using many visual schedules and cue cards to promote learning. We work daily on establishing routines and expectations to make each day successful.
